Had an epic experience with my iPhone this...
Saturday afternoon I ran some errands–
I picked up some jeans I was having tailored and they couldn’t put on the button that had fallen off– they didn’t have the correct tool. They assured me that a shoe repair shop would be able to do it for me.
In the parking lot, I look up “Shoe Repair” on my iPhone, bingo– one within 2 miles. Right from within the google maps...

Space
me: space blows my fucking mind to bits
halolauren: space? the band? the gallery? the place creating a vacuum?
me: space, stars, big bang, universe, light, etc
halolauren: oh yes, it would blow your mind to bits
me: it's (my mind) exploded by thinking about what happens before the big bang or leading up to it
halolauren: which is why that's scientific theory
me: I mean, for something to exist because of the big bang, it had to exist before?
halolauren: the questions are much more philosophical than scientific
me: matter can't be created or destroyed
halolauren: "Will there always be things that are unknowable?" according to us
my mother's husband is an astrophysicist. He loves to mastrobate on this stuff
me: there will always be things we don't understand for sure
halolauren: I think so
me: but we will never stop understanding
halolauren: are all things knowable? are all things comprehensible by the human mind if we did? you mean never stop learning?
me: which means, we'll eventually figure out the questions we have today, but it'll just lead to more questions tomorrow
I think we're capable of understanding everything there is to understand
just a matter of time
but "everything" is never ending
halolauren: me too
me: that freaks me out
halolauren: me too
